Pesto sauce process is really something I was excited to do because it’s so simple and easy to make.

200 grams Bucatini
50 grams Basil leaves
30 grams Spinach leaves
30 grams Parmesan cheese
5 Garlic cloves
100 grams Nuts
2 teaspoons Extra virgin olive oil
3 teaspoons Salt
1 teaspoon Black pepper
How to Cook Bucatini Al Pesto
Boiling bucatini: Start with taking water in a container, add teaspoons of salt and let it boil. Once the water starts boiling add bucatini. Keep stirring. Once the bucatini gets boiled. Keep it aside for later use.
Pesto sauce preparation: Assemble all the ingredients for pesto sauce (basil leaves, spinach leaves, garlic cloves, nuts, Parmesan cheese). Put them all in a food processor and grind it. If you feel like sauce consistency is very thick you can add some pasta water and grind. Keep this sauce aside for the next step.
Mixing bucatini and pesto sauce: In a separate pan add boiled bucatini. Add pesto sauce in it and a little bit of pasta water according to requirement, how saucy you want it. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of black pepper. Mix it well and let it simmer for 5 to 6 minutes.
Time to serve: Your bucatini Al pesto is ready to serve. Dish it out and garnish it with basil leaves and Parmesan cheese.

Pro Tips
- You can add a few drops of lemon juice. It’s completely on your taste choice.
- Don’t break bucatini in parts if you want to eat and present real Italian food.
