Breakfast

Omelette is the main item almost every next day we add up in our breakfasts and mostly omelettes are eaten over cooked brown and crispy but if we go for fluffy, soft and cloudy that’s all about French rolled omelette. We are adding up our experience of a breakfast item made in butter which is cheesy & custardy from inside and not overcooked. In short, it’s a settled egg that melts in the mouth because of its softness.

Let’s dive into the ingredients & recipe and you can also watch the video I recorded.

How to Make French Rolled Omelette

1

Whisking eggs: Take 3 eggs in a bowl add ½ teaspoon salt and black pepper, whisk it well until settled and uniform mixture.

2

Cooking omelette: Take a pan, grease it with butter using a brush. Add egg mixture on a slow medium flame. Stir using a spatula to make a fluffy and cloudy texture. Once you feel like eggs are custardy from inside add 50 grams cheddar cheese, let it melt  and start rolling inwards from your side of the pan using a spatula, fork or chopsticks. Turn off the flame.

3

Dish out: Dish out omelette, coat with melted butter using a pantry brush and sprinkle some oregano on it. Serve it with a toasted slice.

Enjoying eating fluffy French rolled omelette!

Pro Tips

  • Using a non-stick pan or griddle is preferred for this omelette.
  • You can add Mozzarella cheese to get a stretchy texture.
