I’ve been cooking chicken breast recipes mostly and always make sure to cook it in a different way and same is the case I wanted this time. White sauce has been my favorite for a long time and today I tried to modify it a little bit by adding mustard sauce to flavor in majorly with mustard. What I tried turned out to be so tender, flavourful and juicy. To make the recipe easy to understand, I recorded a little video.

Ingredients
250 grams Chicken breast pieces
2 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Black pepper
2 teaspoons Butter
1 medium Onion (chopped)
8 Garlic cloves
2 Chicken cubes
1 tablespoon Mustard
200 ml cream
1 Bay leaf
1 teaspoon Dried fenugreek leaves
1 teaspoon Oregano
How to Make Mustard Chicken Recipe
Cutting & Cooking Chicken Fillets: We will start with slicing up 1 chicken breast piece into 2 pieces (filets). Take 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan, add chicken filets. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of salt and black pepper on both sides and cook it until golden brown from both sides. Keep it aside for later use.
Cutting & Chopping Onion & Garlic: Take a medium sized onion,8 to 10 cloves of garlic and chop them finely before cooking white sauce.
Making of Mustard White Sauce (Step-1): Take half cup of water, add 2 chicken cubes and microwave it for 30 seconds to melt the cube in water.
Making of Mustard White Sauce (Step-2): Take 2 teaspoons of butter, melt it. Add chopped onion and cook it until translucent. Time to add chopped garlic, cook it until golden brown. Add 1 bay leaf & prepared chicken stock water in it ,cover and cook it for 5 minutes.
Making of Mustard White Sauce (Step-3): Add 1 tablespoon mustard and 200 ml of cream with ½ teaspoons of salt and black pepper. Cover and cook it until you get a creamy saucy texture.
Chicken & Sauce: Time to add cooked chicken in mustard sauce. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves. Cover and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
Time to Serve: Mustard chicken is ready to serve. Serve it on a platter and sprinkle oregano.

Pro Tips
- You can adjust spices according to your taste.
- If you feel like your chicken breast is not tender, you can bake it for 15 minutes in a 375 degree-F oven
- Adjust the consistency of sauce by cooking more or less.
